If quality concerns are identified for a provider on the Home Care Framework, Reading Borough Council may place a flag on a provider:

  • An amber flag (placements to be made with caution)
  • A red flag (no new placements to be made)

Red flagged providers will be removed from the Framework list above. Amber flagged providers will remain listed, but the amber flag status will be stated. If you would like further information about any placement flags, please contact the Quality and Contracts (Commissioning) Team.
