Supported Living Framework list

Supported Living Framework (SLF) Providers

The following supported living providers have met the council’s quality standards and are contracted by the council to provide supported living services to individuals whose care is funded by the council.

Accommodation based supported living

This is where:

  • The person has their own tenancy
  • The home is often found by the supported living provider
  • Support and housing are separate

Important points:

  • The person does not have to accept support to live in the home
  • The provider must have a clear agreement with the landlord
  • Housing and support responsibilities must be kept separate

  • Helping people stay active
  • Supporting independence

If quality concerns are identified for a provider on the Supported Living Framework, Reading Borough Council may place a flag on a provider:

  • An amber flag (placements to be made with caution)
  • A red flag (no new placements to be made)

Red flagged providers will be removed from the Framework list(s) above. Amber flagged providers will remain listed, but the amber flag status will be stated. If you would like further information about any placement flags, please contact the Quality and Contracts (Commissioning) Team.
