Come along to share your experiences of using services.

The forums provide us with useful feedback and information. This helps us improve the quality of services and develop new ones. If you would like to join one of the forums, please contact us.

Older People’s Working Group

Aim: Help older people find out about local services and feedback any issues.

Open to: Residents 50+ years old

Future dates:

  • Friday 7 July 2023, 2pm to 4pm
  • Friday 13 October 2023, 2pm to 4pm
  • Friday 9 February 2024, 2pm to 4pm
  • Friday 12 April 2024, 2pm to 4pm

Venue: Council Chamber, Civic Centre and via Teams (please contact us for details).

Physical Disabilities and Sensory Needs Network

Aim: Improve the quality of life of people for with:

  • physical disabilities
  • neurological conditions
  • sensory loss

Members include:

  • people with disabilities
  • carers
  • health and social care professionals
  • local voluntary groups

Adult Social Care User Panel

Aim: Share experiences of using Adult Social Care services and give views on proposed changes and developments.

Members include:

  • people who have used or come into contact with care services e.g. family carers
  • member of adult social care forums

Activities:

  • reviewing our leaflets, questionnaires and information about services so the information is clear and jargon-free
  • telling us how well services are working and what needs to improve
  • joining interview panels to help us recruit staff
