This year, 2023/2024, the government has announced that people who get Council Tax Support will receive up to £25 to reduce their Council Tax bill.
In addition to this, the council will also be making a discretionary reduction of £50. This is in recognition of price rises for those receiving Council Tax Support. This will reduce the Council Tax bill by up to £75. This reduction will be taken off of your Council Tax account if you are eligible. You do not need to apply for it.
