Housing Online – Single Sign On

We’re introducing a new login option for Housing Online as part of our Single Sign-On (SSO) project. During this Alpha phase, you can help us test this improved login experience. Your feedback will play a crucial role in refining and enhancing the service. If you’d like to try this new path, simply follow the instructions below to log in and let us know how it works for you.

I have a housing online account

Step 1

From the Housing Online landing page click or tap the ‘Login using My Reading account – Alpha test only’

Step 2

Login or create a My Reading account. Once complete you will be redirected back to the Housing online landing page. If you are not redirected, return to this page (http://www.reading.gov.uk/holssoinstructions) and click or tap Housing Online landing page.

Step 3

Log into your housing online account using your email address and password from the Housing Online landing page. This can be found at the bottom of the Housing Online landing page. This completes the process.

Step 4

Next time you visit the Housing Online landing page you can click or tap on ‘Login using My Reading account – Alpha test only’ which will log you straight into your housing online account. You will not need your housing online login credentials again.

I don’t have a housing online account

If you are an existing tenant or have a Homechoice application:

Step 1

Visit the Housing Online landing page and click or tap ‘Create a housing online account’ and complete this registration process.

Step 2

Return to this page (http://www.reading.gov.uk/holssoinstructions) and follow the instructions ‘I have a housing online account’

If you are not a tenant and do not have a Homechoice application:

Step 1

Visit the Housing Online landing page and click or tap ‘Register for a housing online account’ and complete this registration process.

Step 2

Return to this page (http://www.reading.gov.uk/holssoinstructions) and follow the instructions ‘I have a housing online account’
