Library closures due to heat

Toy Library closed Wednesday 24 June – toy loans have been extended and can be returned to any branch (except giant toys). You can reserve toys to collect at other branches during the summer closure.
Caversham and Southcote Libraries closed Thursday 25 June – due to high temperatures in the libraries both will be closed. Items due back have been extended.
Rhymetime cancellations Thursday 25 June – due to high temperatures Rhymetimes have been cancelled on Thursday 25 June at all branches, except Reading Central Library.

Wednesdays 10.30am to 12.30pm, Reading College term time only

The Toy Library lends toys aimed at ages 0 to 7 years. The toys include puzzles, role play and garden toys.

Toys can be searched for and reserved on our catalogue and collected from any branch. Giant toys will need to be collected from Palmer Park Leisure Centre and Stadium during Toy Library opening hours.
