A charming walled garden with terraced lawns leading down to the river Thames. There are many mature specimen trees to be seen including ancient yew, with flower borders and a lavender bank. The site is a great place for a picnic, and many public events are held in the gardens throughout the year, including open air theatre and cinema. The park is also a Green Flag and Green Heritage award winner. The Tea Kiosk is open March – October from 10am Tuesday – Sunday. Visit www.theteakiosk.org.uk for more information. Opening times are 8am – dusk all week long, however the park is closed on 25 December.
