Green Park Reading Half Marathon 2026

The streets of Reading will be filled with thousands of runners taking part in the Green Park Reading Half Marathon on Sunday 22 March.

Seasoned runners, fitness enthusiasts and first timers will be coming together to take on the 13 mile route through the heart of Reading.

Rolling road closures will take place throughout the day and residents are being advised to plan ahead if they intend to travel on race day.

Temporary diversions will be in place and closures will be removed as soon as it is safe to do so. Road users are advised to allow extra time for their journeys.

Roads along the route can be closed at any point between 6am and 4pm on Sunday 22 March. Map showing route and road closure information.

All town centre car parks will be open as normal, apart from the Oracle Riverside, which will open at 12.40pm. Use Oracle Holy Brook before that time. Smallmead Recycling Centre and access to Link Retail Park will open at about 2.30pm.
