There are three cemeteries in Reading that are managed by the Council:
The crematorium is at our Henley Road site along with both of our chapels where services are held, the larger South Chapel and the smaller West Chapel.

Reading Bus 23 will take you to Henley Road. It is a short walk from the bus stop to the Cemetery on all Hallows Road.

Last entry to the grounds is 15 minutes before closing time.
We are pleased to announce that our new purpose built offices are open to the public. The new office has two meeting rooms offering privacy to visitors a large, bright and welcoming reception area and a display of memorial products that may be purchased.
The office is closed on Sundays and bank holidays.
Burial services: 10.30am to 2.15pm
Cremation services: 10.45am to 1pm
Scattering of ashes: 10.30am to 2.50pm
We have a waiting room adjacent to the chapels with toilet facilities, seating and a hot beverage vending machine for visitors’ use.
Access to the South Chapel is level. Access to the West Chapel is via a slope. Ramping to the Hall of Remembrance ensures accessibility for disabled visitors.

There are three car parks within the Henley Road Cemetery, all with designated spaces for blue badge holders. Disabled parking spaces are located to the left of the West Chapel, in the main car park adjacent to the Hall of Remembrance, in the overflow car park and next to Mayfield.
Induction loops are provided for the benefit of hearing aid users in both chapels.
Funeral service books are available in Braille.
Toilets with access for disabled users are located next to the West Chapel. New public toilets including a disabled toilet can be found behind the new office building.
