Register Office location and directions

The Registration Service is based at the Civic Centre, Bridge Street, Reading RG1 2LU.

The service can be accessed via the accessible main entrance on Bridge Street.

Ceremonies (including citizenship ceremonies) and notice of marriage appointments can take place at our Ceremony Room and office at the Reading Museum & Town Hall, Blagrave Street, Reading RG1 1QH.

Please carefully check the location of where your notice of marriage or citizenship ceremony appointment is taking place when booking and could be at either location.

There is a 10 min late policy and customers may not be seen and will be required to rebook – this applies to ALL appointments.

Located in the town centre, both venues are well serviced by Reading Buses and train services.

There is currently no customer parking at the Civic Centre.
