Community engagement as part of Reading HSHAZ

There are a number of ways you can be involved in the HSHAZ programme, either as a volunteer, by participating in cultural and community events, or by visiting the in-person and digital exhibitions we have around Reading. We also welcome feedback on all our events and the HSHAZ programme in general.

Volunteering

There are a few ways you can get involved in the HSHAZ programme. From giving your thoughts, to participating in activities, and volunteering when we have call outs. Occasionally we recruit volunteers to support various strands of the project. These opportunities are a shared through our partners The Museum Partnership Reading platform Better Impact.

If there are no current volunteer roles and you would like to express your interest for future opportunities email our team at hshaz@reading.gov.uk.

Upcoming workshops, events and exhibitions

We list upcoming community and cultural events (both in person and online) on the What’s On Reading website.

If you’re looking for something in particular and are struggling to find details, drop us a line at hshaz@reading.gov.uk and we’d be happy to point you in the right direction.

Feedback

If you’ve been involved in any HSHAZ activity you should have been offered the chance to feedback on your experience. Giving us feedback helps us to not only shape the rest of the programme but improve and develop the legacy of the work in Reading for the future. If you haven’t had the opportunity to give feedback, and would like to, send us an email: hshaz@reading.gov.uk.
