Notice of by-election (Kentwood)

Reading Borough Council Election of a Borough Councillor for the Ward listed below

1. Nomination papers for the Kentwood Local Borough By-Election may be obtained from the Returning Officer, Electoral Services Office, Emmer Green Youth and Community Centre, St Barnabas Road, Reading, Berkshire RG4 8LN during the times stated below.
2. Nomination papers must be delivered by handing to the Returning Officer, Electoral Services Office, Emmer Green Youth and Community Centre, St Barnabas Road, Reading, Berkshire RG4 8LN on any day after the date of this Notice, on Monday to Friday 10.00 a.m. to 4.00 p.m. (excluding bank holidays) but no later than 4.00 p.m. on Friday 15th November 2019.
3. If the election is contested the poll will take place on Thursday 12^th December 2019.
4. Registration Applications must reach the Electoral Registration Officer at Civic Offices, Bridge Street, Reading, Berkshire, RG1 2LU by Midnight on Tuesday 26^th November 2019.
5. Postal Applications, amendments or cancellations of postal votes must reach the Electoral Registration Officer at Civic Offices, Bridge Street, Reading, Berkshire RG1 2LU by 5.00 p.m. on Wednesday 27^th November 2019.
6. Applications to vote by proxy at this election must reach the Electoral Registration Officer at Civic Offices, Bridge Street, Reading, Berkshire RG1 2LU by 5.00 p.m. on Wednesday 4^th December 2019.
7. Applications to vote by proxy at this election applied for on grounds of either physical incapacity or absence in relation to occupation, employment or service occurring after 5.00 p.m. on Wednesday, 4^th December 2019 must reach the Electoral Registration Officer at Civic Offices, Bridge Street, Reading, Berkshire RG1 2LU by 5.00 p.m. on Thursday 12^th December 2019.
