Apply or renew your Blue Badge

Please note it can take 8 to 10 weeks to fully process your application. If you are renewing a Blue Badge, you should apply 10 weeks before your old badge expires.

You’ll need the following to upload:

  • a passport sized photo
  • proof of address
  • proof of identity
  • relevant medical evidence (medical evidence includes letter of diagnoses, consultation report and/or treatment plans). You must attach any medical report or hospital letters you possess that would support your application. Registering online with your GP surgery will enable you to access your Patient Summary which should support your application.

Payment

The cost of a Blue Badge is £10. Please do not sent payment with your application. The Blue Badge Team will let you know if your application has been successful.

Once you have been successful, you can pay using our secure online payments website (find Blue Badge from the drop-down list and click main item and follow the on-screen instructions.
