This School Street trial commenced on 19 April 2021 for a minimum period of 6 months. This involved a temporary closure of Downing Road and Lambourne Close at 08:30 – 09:00am and 14:55 – 15:35pm, Monday to Friday in term time only. Downing Road and Lambourne Close shall become a pedestrian and cycle zone.
This Experimental Traffic Regulation Order had been made a Permanent Traffic Regulation Order on 29 June 2022. Decision was made on the 15 June 2022 by Transport Management Sub-committee.
