The Mayor of Reading’s annual choir competition returns in 2024 but with a slight twist! This year, the competition will be expanded to not only include choirs but also soloists, duets and singing groups.
Once again, the competition will raise money for the Mayor of Reading’s charities with our chosen finalists performing on the Hexagon stage in the grand final on Tuesday 26 March.
Our winners in three separate age categories will be crowned on the night and will be presented with a special Let’s Sing Reading! trophy by the Mayor of Reading, Councillor Tony Page.
Any kind of singer can take to the stage, from soloists to groups, amateurs to professionals, but they all have one simple aim – to impress our panel of judges!
