Register Office location and directions
The Registration ServiceĀ is based at the Civic Offices, Bridge Street, Reading RG1 2LU.
Please not that as part of the Civic redesign project, the entrance to the Register Office has now moved following the relocation of the main entrance to the Civic Offices. The new entrance is still on Bridge street and can be accessed via the path leading from the Greek food van. Visitors will need to press the intercom buzzer to get in. Please be advised that there are no public toilets or baby changing facilities at the Register Office. If required, these facilities can be accessed via the new Civic reception located on Simmonds Street.

Ceremonies (including citizenship ceremonies) and notice of marriage appointments take place at our Ceremony Room and office at the Reading Museum & Town Hall, Blagrave Street, Reading RG1 1QH.
Please check where your notice of marriage appointment is taking place when booking, as most are currently taking place in the Civic Centre, 19 Bridge Street, Reading RG1 2LU.
