Residents Asked to Look Out for Canvass Forms

Local elections are taking place in Reading in May 2022, and this week the council will begin sending annual Canvass Forms to households in order to keep the electoral register up to date, identifying any residents who are not registered and encouraging them to do so by 5^th October 2021.

In addition to responding to the Annual Canvass Form, if you are not registered to vote the easiest way to do so is online at www.gov.uk/register-to-vote, by calling 0118 937 3717, or emailing Elections@reading.gov.uk

People who have moved recently are particularly encouraged to look out for the voter registration messages from Reading Borough Council and check the details.
