Charity / community agency permits

The first permit is free, subsequent permits are charged at £145.

Proof of charity status and vehicle ownership including proof of business use is required.
Charity permits are issued to registered charities who deal with vulnerable clients where staff use their cars regularly.

Community Agency means a place of worship/religious establishment based within the permit parking zone.

Proof of business use

Only one proof required showing the vehicle is used in the course of the day

• DVLA registration document (V5C)
• Current insurance certificate/schedule – showing business use

Proof of charity status/business address

Only one required showing name and address of charity including registration number, dated within last 4 months

• Bank statement
• Gas/electric/telephone bill
• Current business rates bill
