Educational establishment permits
These parking permits are available to staff at schools with limited or no off-street parking. Each school receives a restricted number of permits and is responsible for selecting the recipients. A fee of £48 applies, and applicants must provide proof of both school employment and vehicle ownership.
Permits are valid for up to one year from the date of issue and are only valid during term time, between 7:00am and 8:00pm. Please refer to the table below for the number of permits allocated to each school.
The school must have a current School Travel Plan and will be asked to provide a copy every 2 years.
Please ensure the school address is used, not your home address.
Proof of employment
Confirmation of employment at school, for example a letter on headed paper from head teacher.
Proof of ownership of vehicle
Only one proof required
- DVLA registration document (V5C)
- Current insurance certificate/schedule
