Bulky waste items we can collect

We can collect household items that you would normally take with you if you moved home. 

You can book a collection of up to 5 items, although the number may be lower depending on the type and size of the items. 

Mattresses, bed bases, sofas, armchairs and footstools must be covered with a waterproof cover before collection. This prevents them becoming wet or frozen and too heavy to lift.

• DIY waste (including paint) 
• Building or demolition waste (soil, rubble, tiles, concrete, bricks) 
• Hazardous waste (including asbestos, gas canisters, tyres) 
• Windows and window frames 
• Soiled items or items covered in mould 

 We do not carry out house or garden clearances.
