If you don’t have a grey bin, it has gone missing or is damaged you will need to order a new one by calling 0118 937 3787. We will deliver it in 15 to 20 working days.
If you don’t have a red recycling bin or it has gone missing or is damaged you will need to order a new one. You can also request an additional red bin. We will deliver it within 15 to 20 working days.
We will empty one standard-sized grey bin per property. In some circumstances, extra waste capacity may be approved. Before approving, we may visit your property to see if you could recycle more.
We will process applications within 4 weeks. If approved, extra waste capacity sacks or bins will be delivered within 12 weeks.
Food waste collections have been introduced to most properties in the borough from 1 February 2021. Before ordering a food waste bin or kitchen caddy, please check that your property receives weekly food collections using our bin calendar lookup. You can only order a food waste bin or kitchen caddy if there is a food waste collection for your property.
Kitchen caddies will be delivered within 6 weeks.
Outdoor food waste bins will be delivered within 12 weeks.
Residents who subscribe to the garden waste service can order an extra or replacement green bin or bag. We will collect a maximum of two garden waste containers from each property.
The current delivery time for garden waste bins and bags is 10 weeks.
