Order a bin or bag

You can order a bin if you do not have one or yours is damaged or lost. You can also order an extra bin, depending on the bin type.

There are different types of bin:

General waste bin (grey)

You can order a general waste bin online. We will empty one standard-sized grey bin per property. We are experiencing delays with the delivery of grey bins. The current delivery time is 8 weeks.

Extra grey bins cannot be ordered. A 140 litre bin costs £24.

What should I do if I have too much waste to fit in my general waste (grey) bin?

A standard-sized bin is usually big enough to take most household’s general waste. If you sometimes have more waste than will fit into your bin, check you have recycled all you can.

You can also book a slot to take your extra rubbish to the recycling centre.

If you regularly have more waste than can fit in your grey bin, extra waste may be approved depending on the circumstances, though we may visit your property to check if you could recycle more. We usually process applications within 4 weeks.

If approved, extra waste capacity sacks or bins will be delivered within 4 weeks.
