Repairs

We would ask you to let the operatives work safely in your home and maintain safe working distances. We are taking telephone enquiries during the normal hours between 8am and 5pm.

We are responsible for:

• the structure and outside of the building – this does not include the garden
• kitchen and bathroom fixtures
• electrical wiring, gas and water pipes and water heating equipment
• any communal areas in your home

If you have caused the problem, we will charge you for it.

Asbestos is safe if you do not disturb it. Do not try to remove it yourself – contact us if you think you have unsafe asbestos in your home.

Right to repair

Secure tenants are entitled to have certain repairs carried out within a specific amount of time. You have a say in who carries out the work and could claim compensation if it is not completed on time. The repairs are outlined in your tenant’s handbook.
