Katesgrove Community Centre

Katesgrove Children’s Centre is a community building that is being used on temporary basis to deliver family and children’s services to the local area. The main function of the centre is to hire its facilities to individuals, organisations and local groups in order to offer a variety of services to the local area. There is a large spacious main hall and a variety of smaller rooms which include a training room and a crèche. The centre also offers a generous outdoor space which includes an enclosed garden area, ideal for children groups or events

How to find us

Katesgrove Children’s Centre is located along Elgar Road and is easily accessible from the centre of Reading (approximately 15 minutes walk). The nearest bus route is number 11, which provides a regular service throughout the day. The bus stop you need to use is called Katesgrove Lane.

Please note: if you choose to travel by car, there is very limited parking available at the centre due to its location, therefore we advise walking, travelling by bus or getting a taxi.
